RAA imparts in-house training on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

A five days in-house training on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint began from today in the RAA’s Conference Hall. The training is framed as per the Continuing Professional Development Policy of the RAA and it is designed to orient participants on Microsoft Excel set-up features such as formats, styles, functions & ranges and on how to protect files against data corruption.  The training also covers skills related to preparation of Microsoft PowerPoint presentation like creating presentation, outlining ideas, adding and modifying text and templates, reviewing and sharing a presentation, using a color scheme, drawing and modifying objects and creating a multimedia presentation. The teaching methodology used is mostly on demonstration followed by practical application by the participants.

The training facilitated by Ms. Dorji Wangmo, Assistant Audit Officer, attended by four support staff of the RAA will end on 24th August, 2012. The training is funded by Royal Government of Bhutan.

In the upcoming week, courses on Geographic Information System (GIS) and Geographic Positioning System (GPS), Effective Communication Skills in the Work Environment, etc…. will be delivered.
