The five days inhouse training on ‘Follow-up’ started yesterday. The training is attended by 20 participants including seven participants from Bhutan National Bank Limited. The course is delivered by Kencho Dorji, Senior Audit Officer from Follow- up Division and Chhoden, Audit Officer from Performance & Systems Audit Division.
In his opening remarks, the Auditor General shared his appreciation to the follow-up division for bringing in changes and improvement in the quality of the follow up services. In order to minimize inconsistencies that exist in the approaches in carrying out the follow up by Head Quarters and the Regional Offices, Dasho emphasized on the needs of such trainings to bring uniformity in the practices within the organization. He also stressed importance on carrying out timely follow-up of audit reports in order to enhance the effectiveness of audit and improved services to the stakeholders.
The training will conclude on Friday, 18th May, 2012. The training was organized by the HR&IRD as a part of Continuing Development Policy of the Royal Audit Authority.
