The RAA will host two-day South Asian Regional Seminar on Performance Auditing: Challenges and Opportunities from 5-6 June 2012 at Taj Tashi. The seminar is funded by the World Bank. More than sixty participants from the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Australia, Canada, and Bhutan will be participating in the seminar.
The seminar is aimed at facilitating exchange of experiences and innovations and sharing priorities and directions in the field amongst the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and similar agencies in the region. The Royal Audit Authority, SAI of Bhutan will make presentations on audit of procurements and audit of constructions.
H.E. Lyonpo Wangdi Norbu will address the inaugural ceremony.
